wine friday: rex goliath pinot noir.

Who can resist a wine with a giant rooster on the label?!

Found this one this week at Target…on sale for $4.99 (usually $6-7 at most grocery stores).

For your consideration, Rex Goliath Pinot Noir:

I love pinot and this one is pretty good – it’s dry with hints of cherry and vanilla.  Very fruity, starts subtle and finishes bold.

Their wine maker recommends pairing with a beef, veal, pork, lamb, chicken or fish.  So pretty much you can drink it with just about any meal.

$4.99 this week at Target or usually $6.49.  I’ve seen it at grocery stores for $6-7.

Give it a try and let me know what you think!  Or pop on over to Facebook and share some of your favorite wine friday moments or pics!

Happy Friday!

from the comments, back then.

I’m a Pinot Noir fan as well as a Rex Goliath fan. I live in rural NW Pennsylvania and can usually find the Rex Goliath reds and whites “on sale” in our “Wine & Spirits” stores. I’ve enjoyed them all!
