wine friday: concannon petite sirah.

Too.  Many.  Inputs.

This is the story of my life these days.  What do you do when things are moving around you at such a mind-blowing pace that you can’t keep up with all of it?  If you’re like me you start to resemble a robot; too many inputs and I smoke starts pouring out of my head and all major working parts start shutting down.  Please tell me I’m not the only one who forgets shoes when dropping off her precious offspring at school?

Text messages.  Email.  Voice Mail.  FB.  Twitter.  Instagram.  Vine.  (Nevermind I just decided to give up on Vine).  Apps.  My calendar.  Lists.  Laundry (I’m going to give up on this too…wait). Downton Abbey.

Is it just me or is it a little out of control?  Am I out of control?

Any ideas for how to manage all the inputs?  Because right now my solution is more wine.  Lord help me…I need help :)

The taste:  Medium-bodied with blueberry flavors that mingle with spice and oak.

The food pairing:  Pair with stews or a chocolate torte.

The price:  $6.99  at TJs

from the comments, back then.

I can totally relate! The last time I felt really overwhelmed with that stuff I stopped everything, walked out on the deck and just sat in the sun for 20 minutes. Dinner was a bit late that evening but I felt soooo much better!

This selection is another good one. My husband toured this winery and brought back a few bottles years ago, and I am so glad it made its way to my neck of the woods. I enjoy Concannon wines; I tend to snap them up as soon as I see one (reasonable priced) on the shelves.
